My Journey to London Fashion Week – A Dream Turned Reality

In 2017, at just 17 years old, I had the honor of showcasing my designs at Fashion Scout, London Fashion Week—one of the most prestigious platforms for emerging designers. Representing India on an international stage, I was the only designer selected from Hyderabad, making this a milestone moment in my journey as a fashion designer.

The Beginning of a Dream

Fashion has always been my passion. From sketching designs in my notebooks to experimenting with fabrics, I dreamt of creating something extraordinary. When I received the news that I had been selected for Fashion Scout, it was a surreal moment—one that validated years of hard work and creativity.

Representing India on the Global Fashion Map

Being a part of London Fashion Week was more than just a personal achievement; it was an opportunity to showcase Indian craftsmanship, contemporary fashion, and creative innovation to the world. My collection blended traditional techniques with modern silhouettes, reflecting the ethos of my brand, THE VOGUENAARI—a label dedicated to chic, versatile, and artistic fashion.

The Fashion Scout Experience

Stepping onto an international platform at such a young age was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking. From fittings to final rehearsals, the energy backstage was electrifying. The moment my collection hit the runway, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride. Seeing my vision come to life in front of an audience that included industry insiders, media, and fashion enthusiasts was an experience I will never forget. Featured in Top UK Magazines, Including British Vogue

The success of my debut collection didn’t stop at the runway. My designs caught the attention of leading fashion publications, and I was thrilled to have my work featured in top UK magazines, including British Vogue. The British media, in particular, fell in love with our showstopper trench coat, intricately embroidered with the Taj Mahal on the back—a tribute to India’s rich heritage blended with modern sophistication.

The Impact & What’s Next

This debut at London Fashion Week shaped my journey as a designer. It reinforced my belief in pushing boundaries and embracing creativity. Today, as I work on the brand my focus remains on innovative, effortless, and statement-making fashion.

As I continue to build THE VOGUENAARI, I look forward to bringing more global influences into my designs while staying rooted in artistic expression. This is just the beginning, and I am excited for what the future holds!

Stay connected for more updates on my journey and upcoming collections.
